Non or low-alloyed steels

Metal cored wires
• Root pass with penetration
• Minimum risk of cold cracking because of very low diffusible H˛ content
  (~ 2 ml as per ISO 3690)
• High deposition rate for downhand welding
• Ideal for piping and automatic welding
• Recovery: approximately 95 %
• Gases: ATAL 5A (Ar/CO˛ - 80/20)
• Exists also in low fumes emission version  (reduction of 50 % of welding fumes –
reduction of CO emission with gas mix Ar/CO˛ of type ARCAL 14).

Special
use

SD TGV II: very high speed (> 4 m/min)
tandem dual wires.
SD Zn: special for galvanized sheets.
DC courant welding negative polarity.
SD 200: very easy to handle in all positions.
Very good CVN.
SD 206 A: compared to SD 200 better downhand deposit, appearance, CVN to -20 °C.
SD 206: good compromise between operatory performances and mechanical caracteristics.
SD 209 B: for seels with Re > 500 MPa.
SD GREEN 206: same caracteristics as SD 206 with low fumes emission under conventional gas. Particularly adapted to welding in confined places (shipyards or boiler making) where fume extraction is difficult.
SD 202: SD 200 type wire with additional Ni
for improved CVN (-60 °C).
SD 212 and 225: similar to SD 200 with Cr / Mo addition for creep resistant applications.
SD 291: similar to SD 200 with Cr et Mo
for welding high yield strenght steel (9% for Cr)
SD 255 and 270: SD 200 type wirewith additional Mo and Ni for welding high yield strength steel.
SD 248: all positions wire with Ni and Cu addition for Corten-Indaten steel welding.
