SAF partner of the 38th
"Olympiades des Métiers"
national final
SAF is partner of the 38th "Olympiades des
Métiers" national final organized by the COFOM
and the région Pays de la
Loire and which will take place at the Parc des
Expositions of the Beaujoire stadium in Nantes, the 20th, 21st and 22nd
of January 2005. At the end of this event, 2 candidates by job category
will be selected for the international final of Helsinki (26th to 29th
of May 2005).
SAF will be the partner for welding,
boiler-making and locksmith's trade - metallery job category with
placing a hundred of welding installations at the organizers' disposal.
For welding and boiler-making jobs, participants
will use the SAF MIG power source OPTIPULS
280i and the TIG power source PRESTOTIG
220 AC/DC.
For the locksmith's trade - metallery job, the PRESTOTIG
180 will be the ARC-TIG source.
For brazing part, candidates will have the two blowpipes with adjustment
memory and instantaneous ignition: the welding one SPEEDFIRE
S and the cutting one SPEEDFIRE C.
Each candidate will wear a liquid crystal mask of
the EUROLUX
Jet range.
The consumables used (electrodes, massif and
coated wires and TIG sticks) will be SAF.
Fumes extraction machines will be AZUR ones and
will be disposed on each workplace to guarantee the best work conditions.
Several SAF technicians will be present on the
manifestation to install the equipment and to assist the candidates during
the contest.
