Air Liquide Welding contributes to optimize the manual welding
operations on the shipyards (Chantiers de l’Atlantique) in Saint-Nazaire

Air Liquide Welding signed with the Chantiers de l’Atlantique (Alstom-Marine group) a three-year contract for preventive and curative maintenance for 1150 manual welding installations of the Saint-Nazaire shipyard.

AIS, the Air Liquide Welding local structure on the site, will accomplish the expected services to optimize the efficiency of the Chantiers de l’Atlantique welding installations.
Thus, AIS will reinforce its staff which will count 16 collaborators.

AIS is already working for this customer in the welding fumes treatment and aspiration operations which allow the welders to work in better health and safety conditions.

For several years, Air Liquide Welding has also allowed the Chantiers de l’Atlantique, to concentrate themselves on their application, working for them on the logistics of their welding consumables (coated electrodes, cored wires, wires/fluxes…)
