SAF equips its training centres in Libya

Having won a tender with the Libyan government to equip 157 training centres (welding equipment, milling machines, belt saws, etc.), the Swiss company CTC SA, based in Fribourg, has chosen SAF for the welding part.

The company will supply several hundred MECAZUR suction filters (self-contained filter with suction arm) and welding tables as well as many items of protective equipment (several thousand masks, aprons, pairs of gloves, etc.).

Final delivery end of 2003: "As our first operation in Libya, points out José Vieira, SAF export manager, this contract is important for us. Responding to the need to incorporate operator comfort - one of the essential objectives - our products were selected for their performance and quality/price ratio."
